Oh my god.. i forgot all about live journal!! But this is pretty much the only site that isn't blocked at work, and I am bored.. so have a cheezy survey..
1. What did you do in 2007 that you'd never done before? bought a house
2. Did you keep your new years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year? i don't make resolutions
3. Did anyone close to you give birth? nope
4. Did anyone close to you die? yes, my grandma died in september
5. What countries did you visit? england and egypt
6. What would you like to have in 2008 that you lacked in 2007? i don't know. i have been very fortunate this year.
7. What date from 2007 will remain etched upon your memory, and why? February 1st. The day that John FINALLY became a canadian immigrant and everything that we had worked towards paid off.
8. What was your biggest achievement of the year? Buying our house and getting John into the country
9. What was your biggest failure? probably seeing my relationship with my nieces and nephews decline because of my lack of relationship with my sister.
10. Did you suffer illness or injury? i got pretty sick in egypt for a day. And was puking prior to donkey riding.. and im getting over a cold. that is about it, lucky me!
11. What was the best thing you bought? our house and Dakota!!
12. Whose behavior merited celebration? my grandpa. He has been a shining example for all the men in our family, and the ladies as well.
13. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed? Karen. Shocking really.
14. Where did most of your money go? downpayment and mortgage
15. What did you get really, really, really excited about? egypt
16. What song will always remind you of 2007? i don't know
17. Compared to this time last year, are you:
i. happier or sadder? happier
ii. thinner or fatter? i dunno. about the same..
iii. richer or poorer? poorer.. so much poorer. lol
18. What do you wish you'd done more of? exercise. playing guitar
19. What do you wish you'd done less of? smoking (cigs and weed)
20. How will you be spending Christmas? at our house with my family
21. At any point in this past year did you do something that you consider to be completely out of your usual character? i don't think so
22. Did you fall in love in 2007? i loved more...
23. How many one-night stands? none.
24. What was your favorite TV program? desperate housewives, grey's, private practice. This is only since september though. Since i never really watched t.v. til all my shows started up again.. And i missed them last year being in england.. lame.
25. Do you hate anyone now that you didn't hate this time last year? no
26. What was the best book you read? the nelson mandela biography
27. What was your greatest musical discovery? carrie underwood :)
28. What did you want and get? a puppy!
29. What did you want and not get? an acceptance into the nursing degree WITHOUT having to upgrade.. lo. *wishful thinking*
30. What was your favorite film of this year? the departed (was that 2007)
31. What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you? 24 and i went hiking in kananaskis country with john my brother and martin.. and the 2 dogs
32. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying? more money
33. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2007? layers, printed hoodies, jeans, work clothes

35. Which celebrity/public figure did you fancy the most? wentworth miller (yes i know he's gay)

37. Who did you miss? both my grandma's, my dad and all my friends that i never see
